Camp Greeters

Michelle Raggio

Michelle Raggio

Camp Greeter

Michelle has lived in Marin County since she was four years old, and has been surrounded by animals her whole life. Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and mice have all been spoiled by her. She now shares her home with her boyfriend, two dogs, (Willow and Sophie), and Sammie the cat. All are rescues and if she owned enough land, she'd have a lot more. Outside of camp, Michelle provides elder care and one day aspires to be a Registered Nurse.

Audrey Skelly

Audrey Skelly

Camp Greeter

Audrey has lived in the Bay Area most of her life and always called it home. She lives with her best buddy Radar and her two cats Halo and Sam. She found her passion working with animals at 18 while working in a local mom and pop pet store in Petaluma and has been volunteering and working with animals ever since. "I have done everything from washing dogs to training them and I couldn't imagine my life without the animals I share it with." Being an avid San Francisco Giants fans, she and Radar catch as many games as they can in their spare time.

Camp Trainers

Allyson Stoops

Allyson Stoops

Camp Trainer

Ally is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and her training philosophy is simple but effective -- improve relationships between people and their dog based on trust and cooperation. Since moving to the Bay Area in 1990, she's put this adage to the test with great results at the Peninsula Humane Society and then with her own training business, No Bones About It! Originally from Maine, Ally now "rests her dogs" locally in Mill Valley and loves spending her time actively training (and being trained...) by three children, two dogs and one husband.

Camp Counselors

Sydney Bannerman

Sydney Bannerman

Sydney has been surrounded by animals her whole life. She was born in Canada and grew up in Bali, Indonesia until she was 10 years old. As a girl she would walk around all the trash piles and collect the puppies that people did not want; she was always coming home with dogs, cats, insects, and rabbits. In her free time away from Camp, Sydney also dog sits for 6 local families. Sydney has her own pack, 4 dogs, Limo, Mini, Tofu, and Moose, as well as a horse named, Diamond. One day in the future Sydney would like to train and work with Avalanche dogs in Canada. She was born to be with animals, and could not be happier working at Camp K9 of Marin. She says, "Each day here, brings a smile to my face."

Savannah Beck

Savannah Beck

Savannah Beck has been surrounded by animals as far back as she can remember and quickly realized she was definitely an "animal person." She grew up with a strong passion and love for all creatures big and small. While volunteering and working with different domestic and exotic species at various animal shelters and sanctuaries, she decided that there really wasn't anything she would rather do than make it her goal to continue to work with animals in an educational and professional environment for the rest of her life. She is enjoying working with the wonderful people and dogs at Camp K-9 of Marin and loves spending time with her own animals at home, which include 4 dogs and 2 cats. She hopes to one day open a rescue and rehabilitation sanctuary, offering a safe and healing home for injured and abused animals of all kinds.
