What is a S'more?

Simply put, a S'more is a 15-20 minute activity that makes your camper's stay with us even more special. It can be a cuddle session, extra play time, a thorough brushing or brief obedience review. S'mores are also ideal for campers with special needs such as irregular meal times, midnight potty walks or a specialized medication schedule.

• Extra Play Time

  Some dogs can never get enough running, fetching or playing! Whether your high energy hound loves a great game of fetch or tug with a person or prefers running with the pack, this S'more will ensure they are happy and tired at the end of the day. We have a variety of play activities to entertain even the most active camper, just let us know what they like!

• Love and Cuddles

  Does your camper prefer mellow time? Choose a Love and Cuddles Session and your camper will spend quality time with a staff member getting lots love, petting, belly rubs and/or lap-time. This will take place in their cabin or a quiet spot and is a favorite activity for both campers and Staff alike. After all, everyone "just wants to be loved"!

• Brushing

  Who doesn't want to have a gorgeous coat!? If your dog loves to be brushed and you love to see their striking coat shine, sign up for this S'more. Everyone will be happy and tangle free.

• Bunkmates

  If your couch potato camper likes to relax watching TV or keep tabs of activity in the office, then this S'more is for you. Our counselors will spend one-on-one time with your camper in our main office or the staff lounge just hanging out and relaxing, listening to music, cuddling or watching TV. Just like home!

• Refresher S'more

  This is a great opportunity to review basic obedience or tricks your Camper has learned and keep them on their paws. We use games, treats, petting and praise to engage your dog's mind and keep learning fun! This option is geared to be a fun review; formal Training lessons and classes are also available, just ask!

Special Services

• Camp Ground Dog Park Rental

  Tired of unruly dogs and absent owners at public dog parks? Wish you had a securely fenced area for training, play time and exercise needs? Camp K-9 of Marin understands these concerns and offers the rental of a large outdoor exercise yard, securely fenced and surfaced with a clean layer of woodchip. Fresh water, shade/rain structures and waste bins are all provided – you bring the fun! Reservations are required.

• Indoor Playroom Rental

  Want to play with your pooch pals indoors on a rainy day but all that furniture gets in the way? Trying to organize a gathering for your breed group, host a Puppy Party or instruct your own classes? Plan a get together at Camp K-9 of Marin using our comfortable Indoor playroom; complete with heat, ventilation, seating and rubberized floors for a safe playing surface. Reservations are required.

• Check Up Visits to Madera Pet

  Camp K-9 of Marin provides a convenient and low stress transport service to neighboring Madera Pet Hospital. We'll carefully oversee your dog's regular health checkup and/or vaccination updates, however, this service is not intended for dogs suspected of a transmittable illness. Advanced reservations are required and the owner is responsible for making an appointment with Madera Pet. When you pick up your tired and happy pooch in the evening, we'll deliver any medications and paperwork.

• After Hours Pick Up or Drop Off

  Camp K-9 of Marin is open Monday-Friday 7AM-11AM and 1PM-7PM. and Saturday-Sunday 9AM-11AM and 4PM-6PM. If you need to pick up or drop off your camper outside of those times, after hour arrangements may be made. Just call us in advance.

• Holiday Hours Pick Up or Drop Off

  Our Front office is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If you need to make special arangements to pick up or drop off during these times, all you have to do is reserve in advance.
